Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions into a placed houseparent arrangement living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing/meal provisions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
