Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, plan recreational engagements, lead devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Initially work a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role managing a specific student group. Requires a marriage of at least two years, ages 27+, high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Salary is $46,917 per person with free housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
