Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in an on-campus student home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions while planning developmental and recreational engagements. Transition from a rotating schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Maintain household budgets and reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, over 27, and hold valid driver's licenses to operate student home vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
