Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students while managing household routines, schedules, and budgeting. Administer medications, ensure student wellness, and drive students to activities. Plan and lead recreational and developmental engagements, including daily devotions and trips to Sunday Chapel. Operate under a rotation of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Transition to a Placed Houseparent role after initial support of various homes. Requires a married couple with at least two years of marriage, both 27 or older, holding valid U.S. driver's licenses and ability to drive student home vans.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
