Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, medication administration, and student wellness. Drive students to activities and plan developmental, recreational, and devotional engagements, including leading daily prayers and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, then transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with a consistent group of students. The position requires a married couple (aged 27+) with youth experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, operating under a nine-on-three-off schedule. Located in Hershey, PA, this full-time role offers a salary of $46,917 per person with comprehensive benefits, free housing, meals, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
