Residential Youth Caregiver

Job Summary
Live and work within a residential student home environment, providing daily care, guidance, and structure to school-age children and adolescents. Model positive behavior, support students with homework and routines, and coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, activities, and bedtimes. Build trusting relationships, offer mentorship, and use positive behavior management techniques to help students develop responsibility and resilience. Supervise students during on- and off-campus activities, maintain a structured environment, and document relevant observations or incidents. Respond calmly to crisis situations using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols to ensure safety. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support each student's academic, social, and emotional needs.
