Residential Youth Caregiver

Job Summary
Supervise students in residential homes and during on- and off-campus activities while maintaining a structured, predictable environment. Coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, and bedtimes; support life-skills learning such as personal hygiene and organization. Build trusting relationships through mentorship and positive behavior management to foster responsibility, resilience, and respect. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address academic, social, and emotional needs. Respond calmly to crisis situations using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols to ensure student safety. Document relevant observations and incidents. Participate in family-style mealtimes and encourage involvement in extracurricular and community service opportunities.
