Residential Youth Caregiver

Conduct daily care for students in a residential home environment, providing guidance, structure, and mentorship to support their academic and social-emotional growth. Supervise students during on- and off-campus activities, coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, and bedtimes, and actively build trusting relationships using positive behavior management techniques. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify individual needs, reinforce school policies, and document relevant observations or incidents. Respond calmly to crisis situations with de-escalation strategies while ensuring safety, and support life-skills learning such as personal hygiene and time management. Participate in family-style mealtimes and encourage involvement in extracurricular and community service opportunities. Manage irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with the residential school schedule.
