Job Summary
Conduct daily care, guidance, and structure for students in a residential home environment, modeling positive behavior and supporting homework routines. Coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, activities, and bedtimes while building trusting relationships and using positive behavior management techniques. Supervise students during on- and off-campus activities, maintain a structured environment, and document observations or incidents. Respond calmly to crisis situations using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols to ensure safety. Participate in family-style mealtimes, support life-skills learning, and encourage involvement in extracurricular and enrichment opportunities. Work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify and support student needs. Manage irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with the residential school schedule.
