Residential Youth Caregiver

Job Summary
Supervise students in residential homes and during on- and off-campus activities while maintaining a structured, predictable environment. Support daily routines including meals, chores, homework, and bedtimes, and actively build trusting relationships through mentorship and positive behavior management. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address academic, social, and emotional needs, and document relevant student observations or incidents. Respond calmly to crises using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols to ensure safety. Participate in family-style mealtimes and life-skills learning, encouraging involvement in extracurricular and community service opportunities. Work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with the residential school schedule.

- CPR and First Aid certification, or the willingness to obtain certification shortly after hire
