Residential Youth Caregiver

Supervise students in residential homes and during on- and off-campus activities while maintaining a structured, predictable environment. Coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, activities, and bedtimes, and actively build trusting relationships to support academic progress and social-emotional growth. Model positive behavior and healthy life skills, assist with homework routines, and reinforce school policies and expectations. Document relevant student observations or incidents, participate in family-style mealtimes, and support life-skills learning such as personal hygiene, organization, and time management. Respond calmly in crisis situations using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols to ensure safety. Work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to identify and support individual student needs. Manage irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with the residential school schedule.
