Residential Youth Caregiver

Conduct daily care, guidance, and structure for diverse school-age children and adolescents within a residential home environment. Model positive behavior, support homework routines, and coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, activities, and bedtimes. Build trusting relationships, offer mentorship, and apply positive behavior management techniques to foster responsibility and resilience. Supervise students during on- and off-campus activities, maintain a structured environment, and document relevant observations or incidents. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address academic, social, and emotional needs. Respond calmly to crisis situations using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols. Participate in family-style mealtimes and support life-skills learning such as personal hygiene and time management. Manage irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with the residential school schedule.
