Residential Youth Caregiver

Job Summary
Supervise students in residential homes and during on- and off-campus activities while maintaining a structured, predictable environment. Coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, activities, and bedtimes, and support life-skills learning such as personal hygiene, organization, and time management. Provide mentorship and use positive behavior management techniques to help students develop responsibility, resilience, and respect, while collaborating with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address academic, social, and emotional needs. Respond calmly to crisis or conflict situations using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols to ensure safety. Participate in family-style mealtimes and encourage involvement in extracurricular and community service opportunities. Manage irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with the residential school schedule.
