Residential Youth Caregiver

Supervise students in residential homes and during on- and off-campus activities while maintaining a structured, predictable environment. Coordinate daily schedules including meals, chores, activities, and bedtimes, and support life-skills learning such as personal hygiene, organization, and time management. Build trusting relationships through mentorship and positive behavior management, collaborating with teachers and counselors to address academic, social, and emotional needs. Respond calmly to crisis situations using de-escalation strategies and follow school protocols to ensure safety. Document relevant observations and incidents, and participate in family-style mealtimes and extracurricular opportunities. Manage irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with the residential school schedule.
