Job Summary
Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and structure for highly acute and potentially aggressive youth aged 10–17 in residence. Build therapeutic relationships while supporting treatment processes and completing assigned tasks. Work rotating shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) following a specific weekly schedule. Maintain physical readiness to control, extricate, and run distances during emergencies. Pass mandatory Therapeutic Crises Intervention training and demonstrate proper physical techniques. Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in the Human Services field
- High School diploma/GED
- Two years' relevant experience working with youth
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Pass a drug screening test
- Extensive background check
- Mandatory attendance at a 4-day, 9am-5pm Therapeutic Crises Intervention training program
- Demonstrate proper physical Therapeutic techniques and holds
- Ability to walk, sit, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
