Job Summary
Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking, instruct on household cleaning and personal care, and provide community and in-home leisure activities. Document all activities and help residents develop healthy social habits while dispensing medication and monitoring dosages. Drive a full-size passenger van to transport residents as needed. Work weekends from Friday 6pm to Sunday 6:30pm every other weekend with overnight stays required. Earn $16.00 per hour with free meals during shifts. Required Qualifications
- Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC
- At least 21 years old
- At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role
- A valid Driver's license
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Overnight sleep stay Friday & Saturday is required
- Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check
