Job Summary
Assist drivers in collecting solid waste and recyclables from curbsides and customer sites, loading materials into the truck and operating compacting equipment. Act as the eyes and ears for backing up and tight maneuvering, while spotting prohibited items to ensure load compliance. Maintain gear and keep the truck clean inside and out. This outdoor role involves lifting up to 100 lbs and working in all weather conditions. Weekly overtime is available up to 50-55 hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
- Physical Strength to regularly lift up to 65 lbs and help push up to 100 lbs when needed
- Ability to work in the heat, the cold, the rain, and the snow
- Ability to communicate well
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to show up in a professional manner
- Safety mindset to take safety seriously and follow the rules every time
- 100% availability for outdoor work conditions
