Job Summary
Residential Treatment Specialist provides physical care and helps implement programming to support residents' individual treatment plans within Pioneer Human Services’ Behavioral Health Division, including monitoring behavior, documenting observations, facilitating activities to promote recovery and independent living, assisting with intake/discharge procedures, transportation of residents as needed, and ensuring a healthy living environment. Requires HS diploma, ability to obtain Counselor license within 60 days, First Aid/CPR, strong written/verbal communication, driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; shift includes evenings and Sundays, with responsibilities spanning documentation, policy explanation, activity planning, safety and sanitation checks, and collaboration with staff to support rehabilitation and reintegration goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor (WAC 246-810-015, and RCW 18.19.210) within 60-days from the date of hire
- First Aid/CPR certification before first independent shift
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet navigation
