Job Summary
Implement structured programming and monitor resident movement, activity, and rule compliance while interpreting policies for each client. Provide physical care, assist with hygiene needs, and document daily shift activities, observations, and incident reports to support individual treatment plans. Conduct continuous head counts, oversee visitations, and transport residents to outside activities or hospitals using a 15-passenger van. Complete intake and discharge procedures, manage client files, and maintain facility sanitation and safety standards. Shifts run 12p to 10p on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor (WAC 246-810-015, and RCW 18.19.210) within 60-days from the date of hire
- First Aid/CPR certification before first independent shift
- High level of written/verbal communication
- Efficiency with independent task management
- Ability to show attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Outlook proficiency
- Internet navigation proficiency
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to drive a 15-passenger van
- Must be able to arrange weekend bus transportation
- Must be able to drop off and pick up clients sent to hospital after regular business hours
