Job Summary
Provide physical care and implement programming to assist each resident with their individual treatment plan; supervise and monitor resident movement, activity and rule compliance; assess and respond to resident behaviors; assist in planning and implementing a wide variety of structured evening/weekend activities to promote social and independent living skills; document observations for the resident's Individual Treatment Plan; assist residents with health and hygiene; support the GGI process; manage client files and audits; maintain facility safety and cleanliness; coordinate intake/discharge procedures and conduct program orientations; oversee visitation and transports (including driving a 15-passenger van) and weekend bus arrangements; participate in staff meetings; drive and support maintenance of a healthy living environment; requires high school diploma, ability to obtain WA Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within 60 days, First Aid/CPR before first shift, valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; location is Spokane, WA with in-person duties on nights/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor (WAC 246-810-015, and RCW 18.19.210) within 60-days from the date of hire
- First Aid/CPR certification before first independent shift
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet navigation
- Excellent written/verbal communication and attention to detail
