Job Summary
Residential Treatment Specialist I & II needed to provide trauma-informed supervision and care for youth in a residential treatment program. Role emphasizes trauma-informed supervision, de-escalation, independent judgment in fast-paced settings, mentoring entry-level staff, documenting youth behavior/incidents, facilitating recreational/educational/skill-building activities, providing client transportation as needed, and participating in required trainings and team meetings. Shift options include 1st/2nd/3rd with evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is hourly with a range of $21.23–$25.71/hour in Cleveland, OH; mandatory overtime may apply. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or active enrollment in related Bachelor's degree program may substitute for experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a residential or behavioral health setting; 2 years preferred
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred
- Must pass all required post-offer background checks
- Current TB screening prior to start date
- Trainings: Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma-Informed Care, Youth Engagement, Mental Health First Aid, Advanced De-Escalation, Peer Mentoring Training
