Job Summary
Program Consultant at Residential Treatment Center provides consultation, supervision, and training to RTC staff, disseminates agency/program information to partners, supports pre-service/in-service training, participates in staff recruitment and evaluations, and contributes to admissions decisions and quality improvement efforts. Responsibilities include observing and training staff, coordinating with central office, delivering training materials, producing staff evaluations, assisting with admissions and Medicaid approvals, serving on admissions and quality committees, and ensuring adherence to Teaching-Family Model standards. Requires weekend coverage, strong communication, and ability to work in a high-stress setting with minimal supervision. Certifications in Teaching-Family Model and a high school diploma are required; degree preferred with related experience; vaccinations are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Certification in Teaching-Family Model required
- Degree from an accredited University preferred, or combined 60 hours of college credit and qualified, relevant experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience working with youth is preferred
- Must be available to work weekends
- Flu vaccinations are mandatory and required for all positions (subject to qualified exemptions)
