Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and therapeutic support for youth and adolescents with emotional or psychiatric disorders in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program. Assist in the implementation of treatment plans while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in a secure, 21-bed locked facility. Maintain professional boundaries and utilize therapeutic limit-setting to support recovery. Work within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and collaborate with community partners. This role offers paid clinical internships, consultation groups, and career advancement opportunities within a CMS and Joint Commission accredited environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR prior to completion of new hire orientation
- Therapeutic Options prior to completion of new hire orientation
- Must maintain professional boundaries
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology and human behavior principles
- Experience with therapeutic limit-setting or other behavior management modalities
