Residential Timekeeping Specialist

Job Summary
Audit daily timecards for all Residential programs, reconcile missed punches, and apply proper labor category coding. Review and correct system-reported issues, coordinate with Residential Managers to fix discrepancies, and ensure all submitted timecards are approved before Payroll processing. Act as a liaison with the Payroll Department to resolve errors and manage transportation or day habilitation transfer punches. Educate management staff on timekeeping rules and procedures. Submit time off requests within proper timeframes and allocate them to correct labor categories. Work Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 35 hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of office experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and systems
- Knowledge of electronic timekeeping system ADP Workforce Now
- One year experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Substantial reasoning skills including the ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete issues simultaneously
- Ability to identify problems, interpret data and draw conclusions
- Ability to apply principles of logic or theoretical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to coach and counsel, interpret and advise, and the ability to develop and present to professional forums
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
