Job Summary
Provide initial and ongoing clinical assessments and deliver individual, group and family therapies within a residential treatment milieu for a caseload of ~8-10 clients, using trauma-informed approaches and counseling theories. Coordinate treatment planning with the consumer, multidisciplinary team, and external professionals; ensure documentation through progress and discharge summaries. Supervise and guide milieu staff, participate in peer review and administrative meetings, and fulfill on-call duties to support residential operations. Maintain compliance with Medicaid/licensing requirements, ensure mandated reporter responsibilities, and contribute to program development and clinical supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited school.
- Current WV licensure in the respective fields (LPC, LGSW or higher)
- If unlicensed, must be willing to enter into the licensure process within the initial three months of employment.
- Three (3) years’ experience with at-risk families, preferred.
- Valid driver's license
- Required to pass a background/CPS check and drug screen
