Job Summary
Carry out residential surveys, Level 3 Building surveys, party wall work, and insurance-related inspections across Sussex and the wider South East. Investigate defects such as damp, subsidence, structural movement, or poor alterations, then produce clear, well-structured reports with photos and practical recommendations. Complete occasional Red Book valuations and speak with clients to explain findings and answer questions. Maintain AssocRICS qualification and attend internal and external training as required. Work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30 in a tight-knit team environment focused on accuracy and clarity.
Required Qualifications
- AssocRICS qualified
- Strong understanding of building pathology and common defects
- Confident in producing readable, detailed reports without overcomplicating things
- Good communicator, able to explain technical issues in plain English
- Organised, reliable, and capable of managing your own workload across the region
Desired Qualifications
- MRICS/FRICS preferred
