Job Summary
Residential Support Worker (Waking Nights) provides emotional and practical support to young people overnight, aiming to maintain a calm, secure environment, follow safeguarding procedures, manage behaviours, and respond to incidents. Responsibilities include supporting evening/morning routines, coordinating with care teams, assisting with care planning, recording shift activities, and preparing the home for day teams. Shifts run from 9:30pm to 7:30am. Requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willing to complete within 2 years with support). The role is based in a brand-new Chesterfield service accommodating up to four children and young people with physical and learning disabilities.
