Job Summary
Conduct overnight respite care for up to four young people with additional learning and health needs, managing personal hygiene, medication administration, and daily routines. Provide safeguarding through accurate recording and reporting while engaging participants in creative arts and crafts or musical activities. Support personal growth and independence within a home-like environment, fostering confidence through community involvement and tailored guidance. This role serves as an entry point into social care, requiring no prior experience but a positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Full funding is available for a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification within two years.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Positive approach and 'can do' attitude
- Understand how to engage with young people
- Be ready to complete a level 3 in Health and Social Care within 2 years of commencing employment with us, fully funded by us
