Job Summary
Residential Support Specialist at Miller Manor in Ann Arbor provides 24-hour front-line support, monitors visitors and safety, intervenes in crises, coordinates services for tenants, and collaborates with staff. The role may include assisting with activities of daily living (including meal preparation, medication, shopping) depending on location; weekly on-call shifts are compensated. Requires a High School Diploma or GED. Part-time schedule (Thu–Sat, 8 AM–4 PM) with a starting hourly rate of $19.04. Duties include check-in/out, answering phones, monitoring security, maintaining safety, coordinating services with external providers, and participating in meetings and training. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work well with diverse people in a non-judgmental way
- Experience or educational background with homelessness, mental illness, addiction, or related field preferred

- Computer skills: email, web searches, online documentation
- Capacity to respond to crisis situations
- Positive attitude and commitment to helping those in need
