Job Summary
Support residents and children with daily supervision, meal preparation, activity coordination, and appointment transportation. Administer medications per policy, monitor room cleanliness and program participation, and track school attendance. Manage crisis interactions calmly, document therapeutic and routine activities in required formats, and submit end-of-shift reports. Communicate daily with staff regarding medical, legal, and behavioral needs. Work rotating shifts (11pm-7am, 3pm-11pm, or 7am-3pm) in part-time capacity within Generations I and Crossroads programs.
Required Qualifications
- minimum high-school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years-old
- minimum of two years working with adolescents in a child welfare or behavioral health setting
- Familiar with Philadelphia child welfare system
- Familiar with intersecting systems (i.e., the court system, probation, behavioral health)
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs
- Ability to operate a computer
- Current valid drivers license
- willingness to drive as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree or college degree from four-year, accredited institution
- Major in human services or related field
- Experience with young women, infants, and toddlers
- Certification in medication administration
