Job Summary
Residential Supervisor sought to oversee daily operations of multiple residential homes for adults living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and complex medical needs. Responsibilities include supervising Program Directors, staff development and performance appraisals, ensuring adherence to Northeast Arc policies and DDS/DPH regulations, implementing residential standards, and contributing to strategic direction and positive work culture. Utilize a PBS approach to support personal growth and community involvement, conduct QA and corrective actions, manage fiscal paperwork and program budgets, and participate in on-call rotations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's (or Master's) in a related field with relevant human services experience, supervisory background, strong communication and organizational skills, regulatory knowledge, confidentiality, and active certifications (First Aid, CPR, MAPs, Vehicle Safety, Human Rights, Fire Safety) along with a valid US driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and minimum of three (3) years human service experience OR Masters Degree in related field and two (2) years Human Services Experience
- Prior experience supervising professionals and teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and implement regulations/policies
- Proven interpersonal skills to interact effectively with coworkers, employees, individuals, families and outside contacts
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to maintain certifications as required (First Aid, CPR, MAPs, Vehicle Safety, Human Rights, Fire Safety)
- Valid United States Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in community settings with individuals in their homes and in office environment
- Must be able to complete background check processes within defined timelines
