Job Summary
Residential Supervisor providing direction, evaluation, and support to residential staff in a youth-focused setting. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and health standards, transporting residents as needed, attending trainings and meetings, and covering on-call duties. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science field (preferred) or equivalent experience, Safe Crisis Management training, and eligibility for record checks. The role emphasizes autonomous professional practice, collaboration with a team, and ongoing mentorship and development within a mission-driven program for children and youth in South Dakota.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral or social science field preferred; or two years of postsecondary education (minimum of 60 semester credits) and one year of experience working with children; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Safe Crisis Management training
- Willingness to submit to background checks
- Valid auto-insurance and driver’s license
