Job Summary
Directly supervise assigned residential staff, including interviewing, appraisals, and disciplining as appropriate. Prepare staff schedules at least two weeks in advance, ensuring proper coverage for all shifts and implementing call-in procedures. Train staff on each person's Plan of Care and monitor progress on transfers, independent living skills, and personal hygiene. Assist in carrying out program goals, feeding plans, and direct care needs such as toileting. Manage personal funds and petty cash in accordance with established policies and purchase orders. Attend IPPs, special meetings, and staff in-service training as assigned. Requires a valid driving record, one or more years of experience with developmentally disabled individuals, and verbal/written communication skills. Full-time day shift with competitive hourly rate ranging from $21.00 to $22.50.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid/clean driving record and driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier
- One or more years' experience working with the developmentally disabled
