Residential SUD Counselor - 127 West 25th Street

Residential SUD Counselor position at BRC in Manhattan, NY. Responsibilities include managing a client caseload with intakes, individual and group counselling, referrals and placements, bio-psychosocial assessments, and development of evidence-based treatment plans; conducting crisis intervention; reviewing documentation for utilization management and completing LOCADTRs; collaborating within a multidisciplinary team; providing emergency first aid/ CPR as needed; and performing related duties. Qualifications require an MSW or CASAC-T license, with LMHC/LMSW preferred, strong time management, knowledge of OASAS rules, accurate clinical documentation, and bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred; CPR training or willingness to take CPR training is required.
