Job Summary
Provide hands-on, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting, assisting with daily activities including personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, mobility, and organization. Encourage independence by supporting clients in achieving personal goals while creating a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. Work awake overnight shifts from Thursday to Saturday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The Arc of San Diego is the largest and most comprehensive provider of services in San Diego County, dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid California Driver's License
- Current auto insurance
- Clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience using case management systems (Therap preferred)
