Job Summary
As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. In this role, you will assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility, while encouraging independence and supporting personal goals. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as a compassionate approach to working with diverse individuals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Current auto insurance and a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience using case management systems (Therap preferred)
