Job Summary
Document all activities, communications, and encounters with individuals in recovery according to service contract and MHC requirements. Implement the Individual Recovery Plan (IRP) by teaching and assisting Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills to maintain a clean and orderly environment. Monitor and document the self-administration of medications, noting any refusal, resistance, reactions, errors, or special conditions. Ensure safety through proper supervision of sites and provide emergent program site coverage when necessary, which may require remaining on site or reporting beyond scheduled hours. This full-time role within the Torrington area serves four women with histories of trauma and psychiatric hospitalizations using the Sanctuary Model.
Required Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma
- Must be available for weekend shifts (Friday - Monday)
- Must work between 12:00 am and 8:00 am
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be available for emergent program site coverage
- Must be available to remain on site or report beyond scheduled hours
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Individuals who have trauma and long-term psychiatric hospitalization histories
