Job Summary
Meet customers in their homes to perform needs-based discovery, listen deeply, and recommend solutions that align with customer needs and company offerings. Provide clear, accurate information about products, pricing, and project options while creating confident buyers through education rather than pressure. Represent Arlinghaus HVAC, Plumbing & Electric with pride, become an expert in your market area, and help set and achieve ambitious sales goals. Support the Sewer Team with communication, coordination, and follow-through. Perform other related duties as needed. Generally work Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM.
Required Qualifications
- Unquestionable commitment to ethical conduct
- Proven track record in direct‐to‐consumer sales
- Financial acumen to evaluate job profitability
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Must be able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to continually stand, walk, climb, ascend/descend ladders, bend, stoop, crawl, and crouch, frequently in tight spaces, for extended periods of time, in indoor and outdoor conditions
- Must be able to continually use hands/fingers to handle, feel, utilize tools, and operate machinery
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license and insurable driving history
- Must pass background screen, drug test, and motor vehicle records check
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with local building codes (preferred)
- Experience in the sewer industry and/or Service Titan or similar software (preferred)
- High motivation, flexibility, and a great attitude
- Sewer industry experience preferred
- Service Titan experience preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must pass background screen, drug test, and motor vehicle records check
- Must possess a valid driver license and insurable driving history
