Job Summary
Residential Services Staff – Shift Lead at Path of Life Ministries Shelters. Responsibilities include monitoring and guiding Residential Services Staff and Interns, making emergency decisions in the absence of direct supervision, assisting with guest intakes, grievances, and compliance issues, maintaining safety and a positive atmosphere, supporting food service and janitorial tasks, managing volunteer/visitor relations, and performing administrative duties as assigned. Must be able to oversee daily operations, ensure quality of service, document incidents, and communicate with the Shelter Manager. Requires weekend and holiday availability; responsibilities encompass interaction with guests, staff, volunteers, and visitors, plus adherence to POLM policies and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Background screening completed or able to obtain
- Must have or obtain Riverside County Food Handlers Card
- CPR Certification preferred but not required
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Experience in shelter operations and guest relations is preferred
- Ability to monitor and supervise Residential Services Staff and Interns
- Data input and reporting as directed by supervisor
