Job Summary
Residential Services Manager oversees the daily operation of an Information Center within Penn’s College Houses and Sansom Place, managing a team of student staff to deliver 24/7 resident and guest services, develop service delivery strategies for all information centers, maintain professional relationships with campus partners, recruit/hire/train/supervise student staff, ensure adherence to policies and safety protocols, respond to emergencies, and adapt schedules during peak operations while representing RHS and the University positively.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of progressive customer service experience (preferably in an academic setting) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, database management, and internet-based systems
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as described
