Job Summary
Install Generac standby generators in residential and light commercial environments, performing electrical connections, wiring, and system testing. Troubleshoot and repair generator systems as needed while ensuring installations meet local electrical codes and safety standards. Coordinate with install teams and project managers to complete jobs efficiently, provide excellent customer service on-site, and maintain accurate job documentation and installation reports. Support service and maintenance work on existing generator systems when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Generac Certification
- Licensed Electrician or equivalent electrical experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience installing or servicing standby generators
