Residential Senior Direct Support Professional

Provide, assist with, or coach individuals on personal care needs and administer medication as prescribed. Deliver crisis interventions, including physical intervention and restraint, to ensure individual safety. Monitor and document mental and physical conditions while coordinating service delivery and providing guidance to other support providers. Teach various skills to enable productive lives and assist families in identifying strategies for independent choices and coping. Organize care coordination meetings, complete direct service documentation, and monitor schedules based on current needs. This role serves as a lead for other direct care staff within Johnson County Developmental Supports, focusing on choice-driven supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
