Residential Security Agent

Residential Security Team (RST) Agent provides protective security for principals in Palo Alto, CA, within a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Responsibilities include ensuring safety of designated principals and properties; monitoring CCTV and perimeters; screening mail and deliveries; tracking weather, traffic, and current events; monitoring social media for potential threats; controlling access and maintaining security logs; coordinating with site staff and executive protection elements; supporting off-site assignments; ensuring 24/7 operational readiness through equipment stocking and upkeep; demonstrating proficiency with security equipment; and maintaining professional appearance and excellent communication with clients, peers and vendors. The role may involve driving and local travel up to ~5-10%, and requires strong teamwork, adaptability, multitasking, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Qualifications include 2-4+ years in security/military/law enforcement, valid driver’s license, First Aid/CPR/AED, BSIS Guard Card, BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit with 9mm endorsement; Bachelor's degree preferred; and a range of certifications and skills in defensive tactics, protective intelligence, and emergency response. Work structure includes a full-time schedule with 4 days on/3 days off, 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays, with benefits and compensation outlined.
