Job Summary
Monitor property boundaries, operate security systems including CCTV, and conduct scheduled patrols to secure the residence. Act as first responder for medical emergencies, intrusions, and fire alarms while vetting all visitors and deliveries. Maintain professional interactions with household staff and enforce strict protocols regarding photography and restricted areas. Prepare detailed incident reports and coordinate with mobile protective teams during arrivals and departures. Requires valid Guard Card, Exposed Firearm Permit, CA CCW, and BLS certification. Hourly rate between $60-$65.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work in Residential Security Teams (RST), Executive Protection, Military, Law Enforcement, or Emergency Response
- Familiarity with estate operations and high-net-worth residential environments
- Valid Guard Card
- Exposed Firearm Permit
- CA CCW
- U.S. Passport
- Driver's License
- American Heart Association BLS Provider OR HeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
- Completion of Residential Security or Executive Protection Academy
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)
- Strong situational awareness and tactical mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Familiarity with residential security technologies and protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Prior military or law enforcement experience
- LEOSA/HR 218 or multi-state CCW permit (when/where applicable)
- Specialized training in emergency medicine, crisis management, or surveillance
- Experience with estate management systems and smart home security platforms
- Advanced training in residential protection and defensive tactics
