Job Summary
Outside Residential Sales Representative at Spectrum engages with community prospects face-to-face to acquire new residential customers, performs consultative needs analyses, and presents tailored sales proposals for Spectrum services (high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video). Responsibilities include completing required sales documentation, participating in meetings and trainings, achieving monthly sales targets, monitoring competitors, and traveling to assigned territories with extensive outdoor work (roughly 90% time outdoors). The role requires strong English communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to travel; a valid driver’s license, car insurance, a clean driving record, and use of a personal vehicle are required. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications
- English language ability (read, write, speak, and understand)
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate pitches to sell products and services
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
