Job Summary
Face-to-face, field-based Residential Sales Representative for Spectrum. Drive growth by acquiring new residential customers through visits to assigned leads, conducting needs analyses, and presenting compelling sales proposals for Spectrum’s high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. Role emphasizes outdoor, in-territory customer engagement with minimal time in an office, requiring travel to and from assigned territories, strong interpersonal and English communication skills, and the ability to meet monthly sales targets. Responsibilities include completing sales documentation (order entry, dispositioning, reporting), participating in sales meetings and training, monitoring competitor activity, and delivering solutions tailored to customer needs. The role highlights a base salary with incentive potential totaling over $100,000 annually and employee benefits, including Spectrum services. Compliance note: ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based sponsorship now or in the future. Locations primarily field-based in Troutman, NC.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Experience with computer operating systems and software applications
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Customer-facing or sales experience preferred (2+ years)
