Job Summary
Outside Residential Sales Representative at Spectrum engaging directly with the community to acquire new residential customers, conduct consultative needs analyses, present compelling sales proposals, complete required sales documentation, and meet monthly targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. The role involves 90% outdoor activity with minimal office time, travel across assigned territories, bilingual communication (English/Spanish), and the use of company-provided tools to track orders and performance. A base salary plus incentives can lead to total compensation over $100,000, with additional benefits such as free or discounted Spectrum services. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to work evenings/weekends; travel to and from territories is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications as well as consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters, and wireless devices)
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, and as business needs dictate to maximize prospective customer contact
- English and Spanish language skills
- Experience in sales or relevant work experience (preferred)
