Job Summary
Sell pest management services to homeowners by supplementing provided leads with creative prospecting efforts and maintaining organized records of all sales activities. Create a strong personal selling plan, manage your assigned territory, and work with technicians to achieve self-generated leads. Conduct face-to-face selling by being punctual for appointments, understanding personality types, and maintaining a professional demeanor while adhering to pricing plans. Ensure sales conform to company offerings, prioritize recurring contract services over one-shot services, and obtain necessary NC State Pest Control certification within 75 days. Meet agreed-upon sales goals and convert a high percentage of leads into recurring revenue. Covers for other sales reps when needed and helps train new representatives.
Required Qualifications
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license & safe operation
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- At least 18 years of age
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Available to work required days and times
- Free of any illegal drug use, 0 tolerance drug policy
- Obtain and maintain NC State Pest Control certification within 75 days
- Reading, writing, and speaking English, and basic mathematics
- Communication technologies such as iPhone, Excel Spreadsheets, Pestpac, e-mail and web
- Organizing and prioritizing tasks and time
- Predominant pest pressures and treatment alternatives
- Common business software (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, web), iPhone
