Job Summary
Residential Sales Representative responsible for achieving/exceeding sales goals by calling on residential builders and contractors within the assigned Chicago territory; quote and estimate residential projects; read plans and specify products accurately; cultivate relationships with new and existing customers; identify new business opportunities; develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales; coordinate post-sale projects and provide on-site contractor support; maintain knowledge of products and industry trends; strong focus on product knowledge and ongoing learning to drive sales in the building materials/construction sector.
Required Qualifications
- Proven sales experience within the building materials or construction industry
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience calling on builders, remodelers, or contractors is preferred
- An existing book of builder business is a major plus
