Job Summary
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entries, then sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers. Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians to identify revenue streams, while developing proposals to resolve existing issues and propose service enhancements. Complete home diagrams in the Sales CRM, follow up on past proposals to close sales, and provide expert knowledge for new service installations. Ensure all daily activities and sales performance are tracked using the company sales CRM. This role requires lifting up to 20 lbs, navigating stairs and confined spaces, and operating a motor vehicle. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Must be able to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must be comfortable dealing with different pests
- Must be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Must agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in sales
- At least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
